🇫🇷Interview with Laurent Le Bosse – Holistic Personal Trainer and Founder of www.laurentlebosse.com
What is your job?
Hello! My name is Laurent Le Bosse, and I've been working in the sports and fitness field since 1992.
I've had the opportunity to work with high-level athletes, which has allowed me to practice my profession in France, as well as in several other countries.
Today, I'm a holistic personal trainer, specializing in supporting anyone who wants to improve their health, fitness, and overall well-being—whether they're athletes or simply looking to regain balance and vitality.
Why did you choose this path?
From a young age, I've always been drawn to movement and outdoor activities: running, climbing, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing, among others. Very early on, I understood that sport is a formidable tool for transformation—it improves not only physical fitness, but also mental clarity and connection to oneself.
Through sport, we learn to listen to our body, develop discipline, and strengthen self-esteem.
It was this deep conviction that naturally led me to make personal training my profession, and later, to adopt a holistic approach, integrating body, mind, and nutrition.
What was your background?
My career began in the army, where I was fortunate enough to do my military service in the sports department, supervising physical activities at the barracks.
I then worked at a fitness center in Lyon, where I quickly became the head trainer, then the manager's right-hand man. A few years later, a collaboration with a high-level athletics coach marked a turning point: I went freelance, coaching professional athletes across different countries for over ten years.
It was in this context that I arrived in the United States, initially for a few months... which turned into over 20 years of human and professional adventure!
Is it difficult to make a name for yourself in the fitness industry in the United States?
Honestly, no. The United States is a land of opportunity.
I met my wife there, learned a new language, and, above all, rethought my vision of training.
My approach gradually shifted towards a wider audience: active individuals, passionate amateurs, or simply people who want to feel better about their bodies and their lives. For over fifteen years, I've been coaching my clients online and in person through comprehensive support, combining physical activity, recovery, plant-based nutrition, and mental balance.
Having become vegan fifteen years ago, my professional approach naturally transformed into an integrated and holistic approach to well-being—a concept I'm now developing in the United States through my business.
What did you learn from your experience abroad?
This experience taught me that absolutely anything is possible.
When you believe in a project and commit fully to it, obstacles become opportunities.
In the United States, everything is done to encourage motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial freedom—values I deeply share in my daily work.
Was your adjustment to the United States easy?
Yes, surprisingly! Even though learning English was a challenge at first, I quickly felt at home. The open-mindedness, curiosity, and interest in health and personal development inspired me greatly.
It was in this environment that I was able to create a unique method, based on the synergy between body, mind, and plant-based nutrition, to help my clients achieve lasting well-being.
Conclusion
Today, after more than thirty years of experience in sports and wellness, I continue to share my passion with my clients through personalized programs, online or in person.
My goal: to help them regain energy, balance, and vitality by reconnecting body, mind, and nature.
For me, training is not just a physical activity; it's a path of personal transformation. 🌿
